Director of Software Engineering

 As a Director of Software Engineering you will be responsible for building and managing our  software development department focused on new innovative software solutions.

 You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following essential functions:

  •  Own and manage the multiple rapid prototyping and product development budgets;

  •  Coach, mentor, and lead a diverse group of 556 software architects and 52 managers;

  •  Work with product owners across the energy businesses to understand market needs vision;   

  • Business Operations Alignment; 

  • Cross Functional Alignment - working with Finance, HR, IT;

  • Staffing and Organization - strategy and tactical execution of teams;

  • Leadership and Technical Development;

  • Deliver resource strategy and plans;

  • Communicate effectively both within immediate team and leadership. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Hands-on Knowledge and expertise of C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Ajax.

  • Experience with XML, XSLT, and related technologies.

  • Hands-on experience in web based programming and software development life cycle.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and with superior quality. 

 Master's in Computer Science and MBA Technology Management/Engineering;

 Minimum of 25 years of experience in a Software Engineering Director/VIP role;

Salary: $260K - $290K;

Lead Software Architect

As a Lead Software Engineer - UI, you will work in close collaboration with UX Designers,

  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology;

  • Hands-on Knowledge and expertise of C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Ajax.

  • Experience with XML, XSLT, and related technologies.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering.

Salary: $150K - $170K;

 
Principal Software Architect - Web Cloud Job

This role is about assimilating Cloud technology into our platform solution architectures and roadmaps. 

  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology;

  • VMware View Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, EMC VNXe SAN, EMC; 

  • VCP3 and VCP5: vmware certified professional;

  • Hands-on Knowledge and expertise of C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Ajax.

  • Experience with XML, XSLT, and related technologies.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or technology leadership across multiple products, systems. 

Salary: $170K - $180K;
